Most of us are aware that mindfulness and meditation practices are good for us, but we don’t always find it easy to sit still and often our good intentions go out the window when we are busy or stressed, which is when we need it most!

In my experience, gentle moving meditations are a beautiful way to integrate your mind, body and breath so that you can mindfully seek calm and self-healing when you are trying to conceive.

I firmly believe that Qigong is the missing link in fertility self care. With a little regular practice, you will become aware of how you can cultivate your health as well as reduce your stress levels to mindfully support your fertility journey. It gives you the tools to be more equipped to handle the challenges of the road ahead.

In this programme I will teach you the ‘Cultivations form’ that I have developed specifically to support you where you are now. It is a short 15 minute form of gentle moving meditations that you can practice daily. Rooted in the five elements you will learn affirmations to strengthen key neural pathways to promote wellbeing, connect you to your inner healing potential and reconnect you to the power of nature and a meditative sense of calm.

How the programme works

Each session will go little like this. We will start the session with a 15 minute catch up to allow everyone to arrive and have an informal chat to see how we are all doing.

I will then do a short introduction about what we are doing in the session. The first week it will be about connecting and cultivation through the ancient practice of qigong for health, then in the following weeks we will focus on one of the five elements and how this impacts our energy, emotions, health and fertility. (read my blog post for more information on the five elements)

We will then practice the moving meditations, each week building on the last so that by the end of the 8 weeks you will have a beautiful 15 minute practice you can do regularly to mindfully connect, reduce your stress and cultivate your health and fertility.

You will be given lovely affirmations to work with alongside your moving practice.

In the last couple of weeks we start working with ‘still’ meditation practices and consider how we can use heart-mindfulness to support our journey too.

What you need and when you can do it

The great thing is that you need no extra equipment, perhaps a chair and some comfortable clothing. You can do these practices at ANY time during your monthly cycle, fertility treatment or if you are pregnant. The meditations are very gentle and you should not consider them as exercise but mindfulness movement instead.

 

Additional materials

At the beginning of the programme you will be given course notes if you want to do some background reading (this is not essential!!). Then each week you will receive a 10 minute video of moving meditations that reflects what you have learnt in the session so that you can practice in your own time.

Can’t make a session? No need to stress! You will also receive a copy of the full session each week.

There are also additional meditations and practices in the members area that you will have access to.

Once you have completed this programme you can join me weekly for on-going sessions and also join my heart-mindfulness programme if it feels right for you.

Qigong to support your fertility journey

Online courses, workshops and retreats

 Heart-Mindfulness for fertility

6 week programme (£149)

This programme is only available for those who have completed the Moving Meditations for fertility programme. (maximum of 10 people)

This is a six week programme focussing on heart-mindfulness meditation. It is a great segue programme for those who would like to learn more about a still practice.

Each week we will start with ‘the cultivations form’ to integrate the mind, body and breath and allow us to begin mindfully accessing a place of conscious presence. We will then continue with a seated guided practice using the attentional style of meditation to support stillness and welcome heart-mindfulness.

These are beautiful and gentle practices but they are also powerful, therefore you will need to have spent some time practicing the moving meditations first. You will receive an invitation to join following completion of the first programme.
